‘The Great Irish Famine: Remember Skibbereen’ TV documentary was made by the award-winning film-maker Pat Collins of Harvest Films. It features interviews with Professor Joe Lee, Gary White Deer, Fr Paddy Hickey and our own Terri Kearney and Philip O’Regan (among others) speaking about this tragic time in Irish history.

And in this time of crisis, perhaps we need a reminder of the resilience of the Irish people. …
